This Privacy Policy describes how LeadGuru ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by thenicecode.com, collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related web services (collectively, the "Service").

Summary & Core Principle: LeadGuru respects your privacy. We only access the minimum data required to detect new lead submissions in your chosen Google Sheet and deliver push notifications to your mobile phone. We never sell your personal information or user data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide the Service:

  • Account Credentials: When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, and a secure salted bcrypt hash of your password. For Google Sign-In, we receive your verified Google email and full name.
  • Google Account Data & Sheets: When you connect a spreadsheet, we access your Google account via official Google OAuth APIs using limited scopes:
    • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.readonly (read-only access to spreadsheet rows)
    • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly (read-only access to list available spreadsheets)
  • Lead Information: Contact details contained within the rows of your mapped sheets (such as lead name, phone number, email address, inquiry text, and timestamps).
  • Device & Notification Data: Unique Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device registration tokens and basic device metadata necessary to route push notifications to your Android device.

2. How We Use Information

Your information is used solely for the following business and operational purposes:

  • Monitoring your selected Google Sheet to detect newly added rows from Facebook or Instagram Lead Ads.
  • Delivering immediate push notifications to authorized devices for each new lead row.
  • Powering CRM features inside the Android app (status changes, follow-up reminders, lead assignment, and internal notes).
  • Enabling team workspace collaboration between invited team members.
  • Authenticating user sessions and safeguarding account security.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure

Google API Limited Use Disclosure:
LeadGuru's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In strict compliance with Google's Limited Use requirements:

  • We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties, except as strictly necessary to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in LeadGuru's user interface, or as required by law.
  • We do not use or transfer Google user data for serving advertisements, including personalized, re-targeted, or interest-based advertising.
  • We do not allow humans to read user Google data unless we have obtained your affirmative agreement for specific messages or items, it is necessary for security reasons (e.g., investigating a bug or abuse), or to comply with applicable law.
  • We do not use Google user data to train, build, or fine-tune artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, license, or trade your data or your leads' data to data brokers or marketers. We only transmit data to essential infrastructure providers:

  • Google Cloud & Google Sheets API: To retrieve spreadsheet metadata and row entries at your explicit direction.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): To transmit encrypted notification payloads to your Android smartphone.

5. Data Security & Storage

All communication between your device, our server, and third-party APIs is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). User access tokens are signed using cryptographic JWT keys. Data is stored on secured servers with restricted filesystem permissions.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as your account remains active. You maintain full ownership and control of your data:

  • In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time directly within the LeadGuru mobile application by navigating to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently wipes your user profile, authentication tokens, FCM device registrations, and team links.
  • Data Erasure Requests: You may also request manual erasure of your data at any time by contacting our privacy team at privacy@thenicecode.com.
